The company is considered as the leading chain of derma clinic in Cebu today. As it was then and now, Ruiz Derma’s main concern is customer service, more especially if it concerns on skin care and dermatological needs. As a value added service and for the shopping convenience of its customers, it carries, aside from its services, health care products, personal care products and cosmetics products.

Giving to the community

Ruiz Derma is committed to giving back to the community through regular donation drives and outreach programs.  Our company also partners with local charities to donate skin care products to those in need, promoting health and self-confidence. In addition, we conduct wellness workshops that focus on skin care education and personal well-being for marginalized groups. Through these initiatives, Ruiz Derma aims to make a positive impact by extending care beyond our clinics and into the heart of the community.

History

It all began in April 12, 1989. Fe Mantua Ruiz, was in private practice as Family
Physician for 28 years pursued a new area of specialization with the onset of
current trends and development in the medical field of Cosmetic Surgery. For
this reason she went abroad to expand her knowledge from reputable specialists in California.


Upon her return, she started a very humble business venture out of her hard
earned money. She setup the first Ruiz Derma Clinic and opened to the public at the ground floor of her house located in Mambaling, Cebu City.


She is the one who introduced a better way to make skin care more affordable to more Cebuanos. The business became a huge success, it has gained the immediate recognition and acceptance with clients and number of people seeking the services is increasing daily.


Soon after and with the mushrooming of big malls in Cebu and with the able
assistance of her three siblings, Dr. Dana Ruiz Sesante as the VP for Operations, Dr. John Paul Mantua Ruiz as the VP for Administration and Mrs. Cynthia Ruiz Garaña to take charge in Marketing, they opened more branches, including one at SM City Cebu in 1994, followed by the Ayala Center Cebu and the latest outlet was opened in Marina Mall, Lapulapu City in order to bring services closer to the people.
